I didn’t make this up. Local friends shared this version of 5 Cs with me, and it seems to be a common knowledge among Singaporeans.
Like a rebellious teenager, I don’t like to associate myself with what others desire (even though my own standards are likely to be affected by social norms and expectations). And it makes no sense to me to identify oneself with any of the processions above. For fun, here are the 5Cs I want to have: confidence, conscientiousness, creativity, culture, and curiosity.
Everyone differs in their pursuit, and we can never say one is better than the other.
Mine? Character, conscience, chance, companion, and my CAMPER!
I\’m no so sure whether certainty is a good thing. But I also need confidence and creativity tho\’.
I think you\’re creative enough, just look at how you came up with all the C\’s I haven\’t thought about.
Chance? Any meaning behind that?
I don\’t think human can stand too much certainty.
Chance is the beautiful uncertainty.
You can\’t create it, nor it\’s something that you can work on it.
Fame, wealth and wisdom cannot guarantee the number of this happening
You can only wait, and hoping when it reveals its appearance you\’d be able to see it.
You can always grab an opportunity, but never chance
You can distort its beauty if you try to push chance into the form of certitude
Or confine it into your own belief.
It\’s totally helpless. Chance. It\’s totally helpless.
