Bryan Caplan

I’m a fan of Bryan Caplan. He’s a creative, intelligent, and independent thinker who backs up his unconventional views with empirical research and the way he lives his life. I’ve had meals with Bryan twice during his visits to Singapore, including once at Raffles Hotel. He’s as interesting in person as he is on his blog.

I’ve read most of his books, and they’re thought-provoking whether or not you agree with everything he says. My older son is a bit like him: creative, unconcerned with what others think, fun loving, and fond of puzzles and board games. I hope he grows up to be just as interesting to spend time with as Bryan.
