Once upon a time
When life is simple
And dreams are pure
When everything seems possible
And time is plentiful
What have I accomplished?
Years passed by
Life somehow becomes complicated
And passions have stealthy evaporated
Fear of failure dominates
And everything appears scarce
What have changed?
Has anything really changed?
Or are they all just in my mind?
I like your poem a lot, that\’s something that I tend to think abt as well. But hey, we are still young and we always have time isn\’t it?
I think one of my problem is I tend to indulge in too many dreams and find it difficult to actually start doing anything. sigh. And worst of all, I can\’t write anything anymore.
I like the guy who\’s painting the picture and his hippie pony tail.
Thanks Po Ye. It seems like we are the type of persons that never seem to grow pass the supposely \’teenage period.\’ People generally think less and less about these stuffs as they grow up, and those people seem to be happier in general as well.
By the way, I still don\’t have internet access at home. Luckily I\’d access this space at work (but not personal email, facebook, etc.)
you\’re absolutely right. we\’ll probably still reminiscing (melodramatically in other ppls\’ eyes?) abt. our teenage period when we turn 80. anyways, good that you can still access your blog. There\’s a solution for every problem ; ).
Still doing good at your work? Enjoying it still?
Plan to put an blog post on job update later. For now I\’m still surviving amid the financial turmoil.
By the way, forgot to say that the long hair character in the drawing is meant to be a beautiful, talented girls I came across from a photo-taking trip in Tokyo. Now she becomes a hippie guy.
